OUR BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN IS ONLY 3 months, 23 days, 17 hours ago AWAY!!!

boosterthonWHAT IS BOOSTERTHON? A fundraiser that’s fun for our students, easy for our parents, and a HUGE success for Hillside! Prior to running laps on Fun Run day, parents help students connect with family and friend sponsors who donate a pledged amount per lap – students typically run between 25-35 laps with a lap cap of 35. Flat donations are also accepted. Pledged funds will be due after the Fun Run. All students participate in the Fun Run and receive a t-shirt regardless of financial participation!

boosterthon_topsecretHOW IS BOOSTERTHON DIFFERENT THIS YEAR? This year, pledges will be entered online. On Pep Rally day (Nov 10), students will receive their “TOP SECRET FOLDER” with an access code for the website to enter pledges.

Please remember donations are tax-deductible (save your check stub) and corporate matching programs may apply. Pledges can start being collected on Pep Rally day – login at www.funrun.com.

Each class will retain 10% of money raised! The Boosterthon team will also be briefly visiting the classroom to provide quick lessons on the STAND Up! values and physical fitness, and to update the class on pledges.

HOW CAN I HELP?
We are asking parents to help Hillside Elementary in four ways:

  1. Please help connect your child to potential sponsors (family & friends) who would like to support our school through a pledge per lap (35 laps max.) or a flat donation. Please remind sponsors that donations are tax deductible and corporate matching gift programs may apply. Also please note that while pledges are collected online, money will be collected by check after the Fun Run.
  2. Ask your child about the character lesson they learn at school each day during the Boosterthon Fun Run program.
  3. Please come to the Boosterthon Fun Run on November 19.
  4. Encourage your child to thank their sponsors for their support!
