Plans are in the works for a gardening club for 1st – 4th graders at HES!  The club will be based on the renowned Junior Master Gardener Program.  Participating students will learn lessons in gardening and environmentalism based on curriculum developed by the 4-H program.  The club will meet weekly after school for one hour.  Students will have a great time planting and caring for the gardens, working in the greenhouse, completing environmental site surveys, soil testing and a more.  All the while they’ll absorb valuable lessons that will last a lifetime.  For more information, see the website http://jmgkids.us/ and Teresa Lin at teresalin@bellsouth.net
