Innovation and Education

Hillside is a Fulton County elementary school with amazing kids, innovative academic programs, and award-winning teachers and PTA.  At Hillside, we take education seriously. We’re proud of the many awards and accomplishments that we have achieved since opening in 2001.  These accolades demonstrate our belief that each individual child should attain the highest level of student achievement possible.

We have shown that Hillside is equally dedicated to the concept of balance within our school culture. Whether it’s learning to be a good citizen and friend through Character Education, practicing artistry on Artist Day, or learning about science by tending our gardens and performing experiments on Science Day, Hillside remains one of North Fulton’s most progressive and flourishing public schools.  This was confirmed when Hillside was designated a School of Excellence by National PTA for two consecutive terms and an Outstanding Local PTA in North Fulton for seven out of the last eight years.
